MAC Cosmetics and ConsenSys are teaming together to use non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to help people battling HIV/AIDS.

The NFT collection consists of 5,275 NFTs, which features the combination of the late Keith Haring’s art style with MAC lipsticks. Each NFT is an animated illustration, grouped into 3 categories with different price points and rarities.

The Keith Haring red NFTs will cost $25 each, with a limited edition of 5,000 NFTs available. The blue NFTs will cost $150 each, with only 250 NFTs available. The yellow NFTs will cost $1,000 each, with only 25 NFTs available.

The NFT sales will launch on April 10, and all proceeds made from the sales will be given to MAC Viva Glam, a nonprofit fund that provides aid to HIV/AIDS organizations, Larkin Street Youth Services, Jasmyn, and the Ali Forney Center.

The NFTs will be released on ConsenSys’ new NFT marketplace, ConsenSys NFT, which runs on the Ethereum sidechain Polygon.

Keith Allen Haring was an American artist whose pop art emerged from the New York City graffiti subculture of the 1980s. Before he died of HIV, he used his art to spread awareness about the disease.
