Social media app and kid’s NFT platform, Zigazoo is launching into the NFT scene to hand over the creative baton to kids by introducing them to the possibilities of NFTs.

Zigazoo has partnered with the 13-year-old creator of the Long Neckie NFTs, Nyla Hayes, to do its first-ever drop today. The drop features the Nyla Collection, NFTs featuring pictures of characters with long necks.

Beyond earning, collecting, and sharing their collectibles, Zigazoo wants to show kids how to own a stake in the future of the internet by becoming creators.

“We’re excited to bring this brand new art form and method of sharing because, at its core, Web3 and NFTs are all about handing over the creative baton. So much of what the internet has to offer is about consumption, what you can find, absorb and buy. But the future of the internet is about what you can create. And the future creators are kids!,” according to a statement.

Some of the benefits of buying an NFT on Zigazoo is guaranteed mint access in Nyla’s next drop on the ETH network in late April 2022.

The id-friendly NFT platform is hosted Flow blockchain platform.

Zigazoo also announced that it will launch children-themed NFT collectibles featuring popular children’s cartoon content, including YouTube sensation CoComelon.

Zigazoo will be working with children’s video and audio content company Moonbug Entertainment to bring CoComelon, Blippi, and My Magic Pet Morphle video franchises to Zigazoo’s NFT platform.
