Bored Ape Yacht Club’s Discord server has been attacked by hackers and have allegedly stolen a non-fungible token (NFT).

BAYC’s Discord platform is a community of owners of Yuga Lab’s NFT collections like Bored Ape Yacht Club, Mutant Ape Yacht Club and Mutant Ape Kennel Club.

Bored Ape Yacht Club confirmed that its Discord server has been compromised. It also warned its community to avoid minting and airdrops from Discord for now as it seems that many Discords have been attacked.

“STAY SAFE. Do not mint anything from any Discord right now. A webhook in our Discord was briefly compromised. We caught it immediately but please know: we are not doing any April Fools stealth mints / airdrops etc. Other Discords are also being attacked right now,” it warned.

According to a tweet by security firm PeckShield, the hacker posted a phishing site to deceive unsuspecting NFT owners into stealing from them. The tweet added that “MutantApeYachtClub #8662 has already been stolen.”

Based on another tweet, the Discord server of Doodles has also been attacked. Although Doodles’ creators have not yet commented on the report, PeckShield stated that 2 Doodles have been stolen by hackers.
