Hong Kong-based gaming company Animoca Brands has announced a new partnership with South Korean record label, talent agency, and entertainment company Cube Entertainment to launch a K-pop music metaverse and NFTs.
According to a press release, the NFT will be based on the intellectual property rights of Cube Entertainment’s fifty globally popular K-pop music artists and actors.
The partnership aims to create and promote NFTs of digital sound sources, albums, portraits, and avatars of Cube Entertainment’s K-pop artists.

Speaking on the partnership, the CEO of Cube Entertainment, Ahn Woo Hyung, said that the initiative will advance the global digital culture market and digital content industry.
“We are excited to collaborate with Animoca Brands to create NFTs and an associated ecosystem featuring Cube Ent’s IPs of music, images, and more. We anticipate this will be an important beginning for leading the global digital culture market and advancing the digital content industry,” he said.
NFT has taken the digital space by storm, and it’s enjoying wide acceptance and adoption from the entertainment space.
